Luxury High-Tech Motorcoach Visits 23 Cities, More Than 40 Companies, “Moves the Dial” on Major Client Opportunities
ST. LOUIS (June 25, 2010)—When enterprise software providers try to show current and potential customers their capabilities, standard sales presentations often aren’t enough. HP/Exstream and Pro Motion Inc., recently took that standard sales presentation to a whole new level with their own mobile trade show, the HP/Exstream Results Tour.
After Pro Motion outfitted a 45-foot deluxe motor coach with the latest computer hardware and HP/Exstream software, the tour hit the road April 12 through May 26. Pro Motion managed the logistics throughout the tour. With key HP staff on board, the tour traveled 10,000 miles to more than 40 current and potential financial services clients in 23 cities, including New York; Louisville, Ky.; Minneapolis; and Des Moines, Iowa. Setting up in each customer’s parking lot, this mobile trade show gave HP/Exstream the opportunity to show current software offerings and upcoming new upgrades in a low pressure, entertaining and comfortable “living room” environment.
“For Business-to-Business clients, taking their products directly to their customers without the clutter of competition provides the opportunity to really showcase their brands. It also attracts senior level decision-makers who may not go to trade shows,” says Steve Randazzo, President of Pro Motion. “We’ve found this strategy dramatically enhances the return on investment for our clients.”
The results far exceeded HP/Exstream’s expectations. More than 600 customers and prospects visited the deluxe motor coach during 48 meetings, including 20 new business prospects. From those, nine major HP/Exstream revenue opportunities developed, with several others moving significantly toward completion.
“This opportunity to help HP/Exstream take their newest technologies directly to customers is Pro Motion’s ‘sweet spot,’” said Randazzo. “Our team had a great time working with HP/Exstream to meet customers on their turf and giving them all the information they need – in the way they most enjoyed experiencing it – to significantly sell HP/Exstream.”

Offering Popular Beverages to More Than 250,000 Around the Region
ST. LOUIS (June 08, 2010)— St. Louisans out and about at popular spring and summer events, including the St. Louis Cardinals home opener and the Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure, don’t have to find the nearest concession stand to quench their thirst - just keep an eye out for Pro Motion Inc.’s street teams handing out free Dr. Pepper Snapple beverages. Pro Motion’s latest regional sampling program is giving event goers throughout the region the opportunity to try a variety of Dr. Pepper Snapple beverages, including All Sport, Snapple Teas, Venom Energy Drink and HyDrive Energy.
Pro Motion debuted the sampling program at the St. Patrick’s Day downtown parade and will be at a variety of events around the St. Louis region throughout the summer (see the schedule below). By the end of the program, more than 250,000 St. Louisans will have sampled Dr. Pepper Snapple products. “Pro Motion is all about turning tryers into buyers – encouraging consumers to become raving fans of our clients’ products,” said Pro Motion President Steve Randazzo. “Our goal with the Dr. Pepper Snapple program is to help consumers find their new favorite drink and find the most convenient places for them to find that drink over and over again.”
Among the customer comments that the Pro Motion staff has heard while passing out Dr. Pepper Snapple samples: “Orange soda and caffeine – sweet! Oh wait, it’s mandarin – even better!”; “Does it come in two liters?”; and “Where can I buy this?”
