Need: Increase Worm Drive market share while creating awareness and opportunities for other tools in the Skil line with framing and drywall professionals.
Solution: A sampling unit went to the West Coast to interact with the demographic at retail and industrial accounts. Three demo stations and a "Drop Zone" helped users understand just how unique, and tough, these tools are.
As many as 500 people per day used the tools at an average of five events per week from March to December, 2006, helping this program to exceed both sales and demo goals.
