Program: Millenium Millions
Need: Support the launch and on-going sales of the limited time Lotto game called Millenium Millions.
Solution: Traveling throughout New York State, six VW Bugs made appearances at retail outlets, sporting events, and malls. Other venues were ambushed by the Bugs to increase program awareness. Midway through the program, a VW Bug Limousine joined the tour to provide added glamour to the promotion. Each vehicle ended its tour in New York City on New Year's Eve for the $100 million dollar jackpot drawing, conducted in Times Square at 6:27 P.M., December 31, 1999.
