Program: Save World Sanity Tour

Need: Increase viewership and awareness of the Comedy Central channel by exposing their programming; extend national advertising campaign to the local level; show appreciation to cable operators carrying Comedy Central; solicit new carriers.

Solution: Create a field marketing campaign that transforms the type of car used in the national TV ad campaign into a totally functional mobile display - a customized 1972 El Camino that patrolled New York, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, and Los Angeles, taking Comedy Central's programming where TV sets couldn't go - right into city streets. The Field Ambassador "cruised" the cities making surprise appearances at high traffic locations, comedy clubs, and cable companies.
