Budweiser Wal-Mart and SAM's Club Grand Openings

Program: Wal-Mart and SAM's CLUB Grand Openings

Need: Develop an impactful marketing tool to support Wal-Mart Super Center Grand Openings throughout the year and across the country on a minimal budget. Display enhancers have always been a cost-effective tool in generating incremental display activity and garnering the attention of consumers. So, the question was "how do we make them more impactful, but simple to implement?" The answer: MAKE THEM BIGGER!

Solution: Detailed design and production of 5:8 scale Dale Earnhardt Jr., NASCAR Winston Cup racecar display enhancers, large enough to make a significant visual impact on consumers, but small enough to fit in a Wal-Mart Super Center with large beer displays. To ease transportation and setup, special attention was given to the design of the display. The racecar is placed on a large rolling cart enabling the display to be simply rolled into place and providing an elevated view of Dale Jr.'s #8. PMI coordinates the scheduling and shipment of these display enhancers, as well as five life-size Clydesdales, to Anheuser-Busch Wholesalers hosting Wal-Mart Super Center & SAM's Club Grand Openings in their territory.
