Program: SnakeLight Tour
Need: Generate mass consumer awareness and hands-on trial of the SnakeLight Flexible Flashlight. Extend the national ad campaign to venues inaccessible by traditional media.
Solution: The SnakeLight custom van was a mobile display that made stops at large special events (i.e., Olympics), sporting events, and retail accounts (i.e., Home Depot, Builders' Square, and Wal-Mart) during its 18-month tour. Field Ambassadors entertained large crowds with interactive skits, games, and contests. One-on-one intercepts at retail demonstrated the multiple uses of the product, helping to make SnakeLight one of the most successful product launches in Black & Decker's history.
