Steve, our President, set out in 1995 to build Pro Motion as best in class, not biggest in industry. Since the early days, doing great work by delivering tangible results in the experiential marketing industry is what drives him and his team. He is energized by talking with clients and learning more about their business and how we can help them to hit their brand goals. We love finding the perfect field teams who not only know how to put on a great promotion, but also have true passion for the client’s brand. And, we have the results to prove it.
Did you know in past years, 35% of our field teams have been hired by their clients for full time jobs? Now if that doesn’t show you we hire great people, what could? We also believe training is extremely important too. We invest in training like no other agency. Many of our training sessions are 2 weeks and some even go 4 weeks; for those really difficult programs. Our philosophy is, “the right Brand Ambassador trained correctly is 95% of the success of any field marketing program” and we have the stats to prove it.
Are results important to you? This may sound obvious, but why would anyone spend money on an event marketing program without knowing what results they need to make happen? We call it starting with the end in mind (we think Covey may have said that first). We have a list of questions that uncover the deepest marketer’s wants, needs and desires so we clearly understand what needs to happen so we can design a field marketing program that meets those results.
Steve prides himself on doing great work for our clients and providing a great culture for all of us to work within. As you might guess, we work a lot of hours in this industry and we like to have fun. So, how we treat each other, communicate with each other and work together in a collaborative environment is important to all of us. We’ve won Best Place to Work in St. Louis and other “culture awards” and Steve’s philosophy is, “if the staff is happy, their clients will be happy!”
Steve is an expert in our industry and is asked to speak to groups about Experiential Marketing, Building a Remarkable Culture, Open Book Management and Entrepreneurship along with being quoted in major national publications.
Steve sits on the Boards of Big Brothers and Sisters of Eastern Missouri and the Business Bank of St. Louis.
